FAQ: How Do I Delete Domain Tags?

Deleting Domain Tags

There are two levels of Tags in the platform – Contact Group and Domain. Tags created at the Domain level are available to anyone with access to your domain, while those created at the Contact Group level are only available to users assigned to manage that particular Contact Group.

In order to create, edit, or delete Domain level Tags a user must have the Domain Admin role.

To manage Domain level Tags, follow the steps found in the How to Manage Tags guide, but select Domain Tags rather than Contact Group Tags.

It is important to keep the following in mind when deleting Domain Level Tags:

• If the Tag has any children it cannot be deleted.
• When deleting Tags all contacts will have the Tag removed from their profile.
