User Management: Welcome Emails

An option has been added to send an auto-generated welcome email to new users on account creation, or at a different time of an administrator’s choosing. This email contains important information and links that guide and help users when they first access the platform.

Password Policy

To further enhance security, stricter password policies have been added. These include:

  • An increase to the minimum password length
  • Introduction of a strength meter for passwords to guide users away from setting weak passwords
  • Auto-generated notification emails to users on password changes to safeguard against unexpected or unwanted events

Account Locking on Multiple Failed Attempts

Initial locking is timed at 15 minutes. On subsequent occurrences, locking is persisted until an admin user unlocks the account in the AccessE11 web application.

New User Role to Remove Outreach Functionality

This release introduces the option to simplify the user experience for system users that only require access to the platforms Case Work features. Setting a user’s outreach role to “No Outreach” results in the following limitations:

  • No “Contacts”, “Activities”, “Reports” and “List Builder” main menu options.
  • No ability to cross launch to a contact from the case create and case view screens
  • No ability to cross launch to a contact from the case card in My Cases and the Case Dashboard
  • No “Contacts” or “Activities” links on the home page
  • Modified Master Search (top right) to only search for cases, and not activities or contacts
  • No ability to “Tag Associated Contacts” from Case Find
  • No ability to add tags to a contact on case create
  • No ability to create contact when creating or editing a case

Case Work

Category-Specific Email Templates

AccessE11 supports auto-generated emails to assigned staff and residents that are formatted based on customer-defined email templates. In previous releases, one set of templates could be defined at a case office level that would apply to all issue types. This release adds the ability to define unique email formats and content in templates for each case category or issue type.

New Content Editor A more flexible and powerful wysiwyg content editor has been introduced in this release for creating intake and email templates, as well as for adding case notes. A key benefit of this change is that it is now simple to embed images directly, and to format these images to your specifications.

Schedule Reports from the Case Office Dashboard

With this release, it is now possible to schedule reports directly from the Case Office dashboard.

Case Find Enhancements

Case find usability has been improved through the introduction of customizable Quick Find filters, and better grouping and organization of the Advanced Find fields.

Contact Emails: Ability to customize the Send from Name

On a per customer basis, it is now possible to define a customized “Send from Name” for automated system emails.

Integrations

ArcGIS Shape & Polygon Layers

AccessE11’s integration with Esri has been extended to render ArcGIS layers that are defined as lines or shapes within the AccessE11 maps.  As an example, this is very useful for situations like selecting roads that are scheduled or actively under construction in public works cases.

List Builder

Bulk Delete now supported on List Builder

In the latest release of the List Builder, the capability to bulk delete the returned list of Contacts has been introduced.
